The Certificate IV is a practical course designed to bring foundational training for pastors, emerging leaders and team members, equipping students with key skills ranging from biblical understanding and personal leadership to discipling others and pastoral care. This course will prepare you for effective ministry-based team player and leadership roles.
The training for this course is delivered by Alphacrusis (AC), meaning they mark all assessment work, but Grow College is here to help you throughout the journey.

Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for church leaders, pastors, emerging leaders, and team members. If you want to develop your practical skills in bible knowledge, personal leadership, and discipleship, then this is the course for you.

How does it work?
Students gather weekly on a Tuesday night at our Portland campus at 6-8:30PM throughout the school term to watch the content together through online training videos, chat, and discuss the assessments. Alphacusis marks all the assessment work, but Grow College is here to help you throughout the journey.

How much time is needed?
​We offer this course over 2 years (part time) The course includes 8 subjects, with 1 subject per term. If you would like to complete this course full time (1 year) please speak to one of our team or reply to this email. Each unit runs for 12 weeks, and consists of 9 weeks of lectures and learning content and 3 weeks to catch up on assessment work.
